Chicago Summer Music Camp Info
Camp Curriculum
Chicago Summer Music Camp (ages 7-18yrs) operates Monday-Friday from 9-3pm. The camp is open to all instruments: strings, piano, voice, winds, brass, and percussion.
This camp is geared toward students that have been playing their respective instrument for a couple of years or more and focuses on taking students to the next level in their development. Students can explore their musical interests while learning more advanced techniques on their instruments, collaborating with their peers in coached Chamber Music Class, and participating in master class style classes.
* All camp classes are general music group classes and non instrument specific

- Mon-Fri – 9am-3pm
- Music Appreciation (theory & history)
- Composition Class
- Improv Class
- Group Class – Technique / Masterclass
- Chamber Music
- Performance Class / Orchestra
- Aftercare is Available until 5:30pm
- Private Lessons Encouratged
- All camp classes are general music group classes and non instrument specific
All classes are taught by our acclaimed American Music Institute faculty. Private lessons are optional but strongly encouraged.
